On the eve of our middle school's food drive competition coming to a close, one 6th grader has made an incredibly generous donation. With money from his own pocket, Peyton Earl donated more than $200 worth of food, totaling 248 pounds.
Peyton’s donation is supporting the week-long Students Against Drunk Driving food drive competition, which featured teams six teams competing to bring in the most donations. (by pound) The middle school's building-wide goal was 300 points.
All of the donations will go toward our M-EALS program, supporting students, staff and families. As we enter Thanksgiving break, this food could not have come at a better time.
We thank Peyton for his incredibly generous donation!
