COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS: RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES
What are the Common Core Learning Standards and what do they mean for your child? What does it mean to be "college and career ready"? How can parents help their children be successful at Maine Memorial, at the Middle and High Schools, in college and beyond?
In November the staff at Maine Memorial answered these and other questions about the common core at a presentation to parents. Included in the presentation were examples from the domains and modules (lessons) that teachers are incorporating in their English Language Arts and math instruction.
We've included the presentations here for your reference, as well as links to helpful resources available to parents and students online.
More content will be added to Maine Memorial's common core web page as it becomes available.
