Endwell FD Asst. Chief Robert Congdon and several firefighter volunteers collaborated with our district on a safety endeavor – applying number stickers to doors and windows upon two of the four buildings in our district where we couldn’t reach the upper floors safely from the outside. Putting stickers on doors and windows is a recommendation that originated from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. All doors, offices, and classrooms are now numbered for first responders.
The Endwell Fire Department used ladders and bucket/ladder trucks to apply stickers to the 2nd floor windows of the Middle School and Homer Brink.
