Students in the High School Entrepreneurship class have spent months creating business plans for their participation in the Greater Binghamton Startup Challenge. The virtual event was held on June 3 and featured presentations by schools throughout the region. Fourteen M-E High School teams competed in the event, which was judged by local business men and women.

Three Maine-Endwell teams won awards in the competition! Congratulations to the following students: 

Marleigh Demilio and Sacora Salmon (not shown): Apps Category Winners for “Onsite” - An app on your phone to locate and give direction to the nearest bathroom.

Pat George, Emily Blight, and Anthony Blake : People’s Choice Winner for Most Relevant Idea for “Bioware” -  biodegradable silverware that will help to keep the environment happy and healthy.  

James Fellows, Brody Raleigh, Michael Mancini and Conner Rush: People’s Choice Winner for Best Idea for “Advanced Vision” -  a dissolving contact for safer and easy wear.

All winners will receive scholarship money.
